The new Xcaliber SuperLite Fairway Wood Golf Shaft was designed as a true fairway shaft - not a driver shaft that's been extensively tested then recommended for fairway wood heads with a debatable tip trimming procedure to effectively increase stiffness.

Not a good design and testing protocol to optimize the performance of the heavier and smaller fairway heads which have their own unique properties of weight distribution etc.

The Xcaliber SuperLite Fairway Woods have a stiffness profile equal to our heavier Xcaliber Classic Series Fairway Wood models. They're designed with stiffer upper and softer lower sections than the Xcaliber SuperLite Woods which helps golfers launch a ball with optimum launch angles and spin rates from a variety of fairway shots with ease.

Unlike other companies who check for quality using a conventional one-point stiffness inspections on their shaft’s butt end, we also inspect 100% at the tip end of the shaft. No other company in the industry spends the time and money to do this. These extra inspection steps ensure a distribution of stiffness along the entire length of the shaft - not just the upper end.

If you have a slower swing speed, expect a high launch without excessive spin. If you have a faster swing, you’ll get a medium-high launch with reduced spin when using the S-flex model.
