The Hybrid You’ll Want to High Five.
A lot of shaft companies don’t truly design their hybrid shafts to optimize performance for hybrid heads. They simply make longer versions of their iron models which get all the attention and testing. To get the best performance, each part of a club must be designed and tested for that particular head type. That’s the approach we took when we designed the Xcaliber Pro Hybrid Golf Shaft.
The Xcaliber Pro Hybrid Golf Shafts feature a low-balance point which helps golfers get the ball airborne even from the toughest lies. The shafts feature stiffer upper and lower sections than our new Classic Series Hybrid Golf Shafts. This design difference gives golfers with higher swing speeds and more aggressive swing profiles a mid-high ball flight and a slightly lower spin rate for greater distance and green-stopping control.
If you swing up to 105 mph and have a medium tempo/transition, the S-flex will give you a medium to high launch without excess spin.
If you have a 105+ mph swing speed and want a lower flight, the TS-flex delivers a more penetrating trajectory with just the right amount of spin.
Standard Trim Instructions:
15° - 0 in.
18° - 0.5 in.
21° - 1 in.
24° - 1.5 in.
27° - 2 in. (maximum tipping 2 in.)
After tipping, cut to final length form butt.
