Bites into the chrome leaving a rough surface for the epoxy to grip to. 60 Grit is best!
Used on thick walled, heavier to medium weight steel shafts.

80 Grit Shaft tip prepping and de-burring belt for Steel shafts. 80 Grit does not bite as hard into the chrome, leaving a moderatly rough surface.
Best used with medium light weight steel shafts.

120 Grit is a good compromise for prepping steel and graphite shafts and can be used to remove hardened epoxy on shafts that are to be re-installed.

240 Grit is ideal for removing thick film coating off graphite shafts, while leaving a slight textured surface for the epoxy to adhere to.
When prepping Graphite Shaft tips; apply light pressure with continous rotation.
This will prevent the coating from melting and adhering to the belt.
