More Facts:
Go Long, Stay Strong & in the Middle.
The value-priced, high-performance RT6* Wood Golf Shafts are among the most consistent and stable wood shafts in the industry regardless of price. We've incorporated an ultra high-strength material into the shafts that fine-tunes their stiffens distributions, especially in the lower sections without any gain in weight. These design upgrades allow for a more consistent and optimal ball flight with just the right amount of spin for each flex - not just a weaker upper section for each flex.
The new designs of the RT 6* shaft line have unique progressions and distributions of stiffness for each flex. The A-flex sports a soft-medium profile while the R-flex has a medium-stiff profile along their entire lengths. The S-flex features a medium-stiff profile along its full length but with a lower portion that is much stiffer.
To verify that every shaft we make performs as designed, we conduct 100% frequency inspections at 0 and 90 degrees of both the butt and lower sections of the woods, an industry first. Other companies only frequency test a single point on the butt.
If you have a slow to medium swing speed in the 75-95 mph range with a slower to medium transition/tempo, using the A- or R-flexes expect a medium to medium-high launch without excess spin. This combination will help you hit longer, more controlled shots.
If you attack the ball aggressively and your swing speed is 95-105 mph, when using the S-flex expect a slightly lower launch without excessive spin. This will allow you to maximize distance and optimize control.
